This project built YourTest (yourtest.kr), a utility platform centered on psychology and preference tests that anyone can take quickly and easily. The platform provides users with opportunities for self-exploration through a variety of test content—such as personality types, personal tastes, and values—while combining an intuitive interface optimized for social sharing with engaging, playful elements.
To maximize accessibility, users can start a test immediately without a sign-up process. We also planned test content and UX that reflect Gen Z preferences, offering multiple formats such as balance games, deeper type analysis, and character matching to keep users engaged and returning.
We designed the platform to remove the sign-up step entirely to reduce participation friction. Based on the insight that complex registration processes can become a barrier, we planned a one-click entry flow that lets users start tests immediately without additional verification. We also designed device-optimized interfaces for both mobile and web environments, maintaining consistent UX while tailoring UI element placement and sizing to touch-based and mouse-based interactions.
We also planned UX/UI specifically aligned with Gen Z digital culture and sensibilities. By analyzing visual trends and interaction patterns preferred by Gen Z, we designed a trendy, emotionally engaging test experience to increase immersion and participation. Interactive animations and game-like elements were incorporated so the testing process itself feels enjoyable, not just informative.
In addition, we planned result outputs as share-ready visual content rather than plain text. Result page templates were designed to match the formats commonly used on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, allowing users to share instantly without extra editing—supporting the goal of evolving the platform beyond a simple test tool into an interactive content platform that users want to participate in and share.
We established the core structure of the platform by clearly defining the question–answer–result matching model. Detailed user flow scenarios were created for different test types to ensure a consistent experience, and core admin requirements—such as test registration and stats management—were systematically derived during planning.
We implemented user-centered UI/UX from the main page to the test flow, and designed share images and SNS thumbnails to improve viral potential. Responsive layouts were applied to deliver a consistent experience across devices, with strong consideration for mobile usability.
We also implemented the core interaction logic end-to-end, connecting question delivery, score calculation, and result rendering into a smooth flow. Dynamic image generation was implemented on result pages to provide personalized outputs, and social sharing meta tags were optimized for platforms such as KakaoTalk, Facebook, and X (Twitter). An admin page for test creation and management was developed, along with result storage and analytics features, enabling data-driven service operations across the platform.
