This project involved building structured admin and seller portals for the I'm Place platform, a marketplace designed around the **zero-waste** trend. The goal was to enable efficient day-to-day operations by providing two dedicated workspaces: one for platform operators and one for merchants.


The **admin portal** was designed and implemented to help the operation team manage users and vendors in an integrated, efficient way, aligned with real operational requirements. The **seller portal** was built so merchants can easily handle routine sales tasks—such as product registration and updates, and order status processing—through an intuitive, user-friendly interface.


By establishing this two-way management system (admin ↔ seller), the project significantly improved operational convenience and productivity for running a zero-waste marketplace, contributing to a more sustainable platform ecosystem.


Client Requirements

1) **Integrated management system for an eco-friendly commerce platform**

- Build dedicated pages for both administrators and sellers to operate a zero-waste focused marketplace.

- Reflect the market’s characteristics (many small vendors / individual sellers) by prioritizing usability and accessibility.


2) Operator-centered admin system for unified data control

- Provide an admin environment that allows operators to view and control key platform data at a glance: members, sellers, products, orders, etc.

- Support rapid decision-making with dashboards, reporting, and (where relevant) analytics for trends and performance.


3) Seller portal that non-experts can use easily

- Simplify product registration and minimize technical terms and complexity.

- Enable streamlined order workflows (confirm → ship → manage customer requests) with minimal steps.

- Make settlement information easy to understand without requiring accounting knowledge.


4) Operational optimization to maximize efficiency with minimal resources

- Introduce efficient processes and automation where possible to reduce repetitive manual tasks.

- Ensure performance, stability, and scalability to support growth in traffic and seller volume.



Key Deliverables

✅ Admin Portal: Core feature design & development

- Designed and developed an operator-centric admin portal to support efficient marketplace operations.

- Implemented member management (user info lookup, tier/role management, activity monitoring).

- Built vendor onboarding and approval workflows (review → approval → management).

- Enabled real-time monitoring for products and orders (registration status, sales performance, order processing states).

- Delivered dashboards that visualize traffic sources and revenue metrics to support data-driven decisions.


✅ Seller Portal: Usability-focused console for merchants

- Developed a seller-friendly portal optimized for productivity and ease of use.

- Streamlined product registration (simple input structure + image upload flow).

- Implemented inventory management with real-time visibility and optional alerts.

- Built order management that covers the full lifecycle (new order → shipping → completion), including one-click status updates.

- Added settlement views (sales, fees, expected payout) with reporting by month or custom period.

- Applied responsive design so sellers can operate on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

- Built a unified UI language aligned with eco-friendly brand identity.

- Applied a nature-inspired palette and readable typography system to balance clarity and brand consistency.
