DevFive CEO Jungmin Oh Shares Startup Experience at Yonsei University
DevFive CEO Jungmin Oh took part in a mentor session for the 2026 Yonsei-Nexon √i RC Creative Platform at Yonsei University’s Lee Yoon-jae Hall on October 8, 2026.
Under the theme “Starting a Business at 23: Five Years On,” Oh spoke with members of the peer mentor group about how he began his company, entrepreneurship as a career, career choices, and software development. Questions submitted in advance and asked during the session provided opportunities to discuss participants’ concerns and share his firsthand experiences.
Discovering that the braille on a professor’s office sign did not include the professor’s name was the starting point for Oh to establish DevFive at the age of 23. He shared how he continues to address the same problem through braille and accessibility technologies.
Students continued to reach out after the talk. Reflecting on the active participation of students and alumni, Oh shared his view that a university’s reputation does not simply create opportunities: the opportunities its members create and the results they achieve also build that reputation.
DevFive will continue sharing its experience of addressing real-world problems through technology and engaging with young people exploring entrepreneurship and career paths. We thank the peer mentor group for organizing the session and everyone who joined us.
