DevFive CEO Oh Jung-min and developer Ko Hyun-rim have won the Grand Prize at the National Science Museum's 'AI Hack Camp 2026'. Claiming the top award at this large-scale AI innovation competition, where 410 teams from across the country competed, this victory officially proves that DevFive is a team that goes beyond mere technical development to realize genuine social value.

The competition was held under the overarching theme of 'Developing AI Innovation Solutions that Change People's Lives,' across four categories: ▲Digital Health, ▲Digital Safety, ▲Digital Inclusion, and ▲Digital Education. A total of 410 teams entered the fierce competition, and through evaluation by a professional judging committee, only 12 teams — three per category — advanced to the finals. In the finals, teams refined their solutions through an external expert mentoring program, followed by team presentations, expert judging, and a public vote, with the final rankings determined by combining all scores. It was a structure that evaluated not only technical capability but also social resonance.

The solution developed by DevFive is an interactive AI companion service that enables the elderly and people with disabilities to easily create complex public HWP (Hangul Word Processor) documents using only voice, photos, and handwriting. Filling out public documents has long remained a significant barrier for digitally vulnerable populations. By solving this problem through technology, DevFive demonstrated that AI can go beyond being a mere convenience tool to become a means of social inclusion. This award confirms that the direction DevFive has been heading is exactly right.

At the awards ceremony, Director Kwon Seok-min of the National Science Museum stated, "This competition was not simply a venue for technological development, but holds significance in that citizens directly participated as 'co-existence designers' of the AI era." The solution DevFive presented was recognized as the work that best embodied the spirit of that 'co-existence design.'
